With sculpting of the fur all but done by using the new sculpt brushes detailed in the personal progress log. It was time to move on with the design, with further work needed to be done to skin details such as his ears and face along the with the design of his back pack piece.

The back pack had no concept done for it so the design was came up with on the fly with the idea of it being a hollowed out Woodlouse shell coming to me pretty quickly as a cool look. I felt like this new bug element would help to tie the designs of Misho and Wume together along with grounding them in the same world.

With the use of reference I quickly sculpted out the base design incorporating many aspects of wood louse anatomy along with referring back to the Wume design to make it seem as these too insects have evolved in the same world.

I then compared to the model and made a few adjustments so that the design would look like it naturally fit with Mishos design.

Below you can see some finished renders of how the character is looking currently. Overall I'm very happy with current look of Misho considering the condensed amount of time I had to work on this model. Though I'm not certain how I feel with the colour though this aspect can be played around with later down the line.
