This game sees the player enter the shoes of a Vermin exterminator whose specialty is dealing with the ever-growing amount of Gremlin infestations in his city. The game will be set in 3rd person and allow the player to roam a large inner-city hotel and eradicate the gremlin Prescence.
Game Mechanics
•Craft weapons out of your van using items found in the world
•Explore into the hotel using the Lobby area as a base hub
•Save guest trapped in areas by the creatures and bring them back to the lobby.
•Recruit employees and security guards to patrol areas of the hotel and bring back order.
•Encounter the Gremlins newfound community with them drinking in the bar, swimming in the underground pool and getting makeovers in the salon.
•Use the environment as a weapon such as adding poison to the Beer lines or electrifying the swimming pool.
Essential experience
The game will allow the player to have freedom over the task that is set upon them, with the player being able to tackle any area of the hotel from the start of the game. The game will start off with the player arriving at the hotel and encountering a barricaded Lobby full of guests and employees, after a short conversation with the receptionist/manager they will be set loose on the gremlin presence.
Combat with the Gremlins will see the player be able to tackle them with a mix of unique weapons the player is able to craft, from a poisonous nail gun that will cause the gremlins to explode and throw friendly gremlins close flying, to a net throwing launcher that will net up groups of gremlins together.
The game would also include a ragdoll mechanic to the Gremlins, player and human character to enhance the humorous effects of the weapons abilities
Art style and Environments
The game is set in a large inner-city hotel, that spans multiple floors and event rooms. This setting allows for the player to encounter the creatures in an array of environments, from the dark basement corridors, the stylish bar and restaurant to the filthy back of house.
Each area will have its dangers and its advantages for the player with the gremlins being able to equip themselves differently depending on their location. You will also encounter the Gremlins getting up to different activities in areas that they are present.
