During work on the project the university put out a competition to create a piece of art based on a selection of artists. As my schedule was light and I was all up to date with work at the time I decided to participate and improve some of my 3D skills.
The Artist I chose was Andy Warhol in which I decided to make a piece that focused on his signature Tomato soup can painting and also incorporate his use of skulls as I had a high quality model already. The render would be a short animation in blender that would have the can slide into frame, be filled up with skulls and then slide out of frame. The goal was to make something very abstract.
Overall as I started production on this a day before the competition closed it allowed me to see how well I worked under crunch and the quality of a 3D scene I can create in a short amount of time. I was pleased with how well I worked, though I will not go for the same work ethic with the main project as this was quite tolling on my mental health with me working this intensely over a short time. I was also able to learn some new methods of rendering output in blender, so even if I don't do good in the completion I'm happy that I partook in it with me learning some new skills and more about my work ethic.
